Because he would of got humilated and knocked out at that point in his career (Floyd was a top 3 pd 4 pd fighter at the time and had just destroyed an undefeated Chico Corrales)

For the same reason Floyd was scared shitless to fight Margarito and Paul Williams.

Because Mayweather was actually seriously ****ing good back then, and he would have made Hamed look even worse than he did against Barrera.

Hamed is not playing in the same league. He's an average fighter.

#1- He wasn't scared. He was at 126 and was the king of the Featherweight division at the time, and Floyd was at 130 and didn't fight Chico until 2001. Naseem had already stepped out in 2000. Naseem had his attention on the bigger names at the time like Barerra and Morales. And when he fought Barerra in 2000 his edge was gone and he walked out and never came back.

#2- I don't think you should ever try and imply someone is or was scared to fight EXCUSE MASTER MAYWEATHER.

Hamed was too little. 5'4 1/2

  14. You're wrong. Hamed was a very special fighter. He just made bad decisions in the ring. He showboated way too much.

Because he's smart enough to know that Floyd would easily have beaten him, Hamed was a hype job and he's gone, so let's get over him.
