Cotto was losing bad and couldnt find an answer, he let out his frustration on his team. He was very lucky his hometown judges gave him a gift draw.
No, that wasn't it. He's been slacking off in his training leading in to the fight and tension was brewing between the two. Evangelista was yelling and cursing at him because of his lackluster performance and was trying to light a fire in his ass, but Jose was hearing it. Jose is well known for being undiscipline when is comes to his training and it pisses off Evangelista to no end. All the built up frustration came out in that fight.
uh duh sherlock? That beef started in the gym, not at the fight. The first 5 round was very good, but as soon as the beef started his performance suffered...now if you actually get the see the whole fight, you'll see that Uncle Cotto started to yell at Jose from the 6th round on and Jose couldn't take it...yes I thought he was losing but not badly like you described atleast not bad enough for him to act like a dick towards his uncle.
That may all be true.... but that trainer, from what ive seen and heard is a real dickhead, isnt it their uncle or something?
it doesn't matter if the trainer is a *****...a real athlete...a pro should know how to deal with it. Most trainers can be somewhat of a pain in the ass...I've never heard Miguel ever bitching about his Uncle.
