It should have been stopped it was a good call. We don't need boxers to literally die for a fight to be stopped.

When Joshua went down the previous time, only just prior to the final knockdown, he made a smart ass eye gesture to Ruiz when they resumed. So he was okay at that point time.

In the next flurry, Joshua landed 2 solid shots and Ruiz responded with nothing special but Joshua went down again.

After Joshua regained his feet from the final knockdown, he looked into the referees eyes, nodded he was right to go and then just lent back on the ropes giving the referee no choice but to stop the fight.

The armchair 'experts' trying to play doctor by making clinical assessments of Joshua from the other side of their TV screen need to rewatch the ending with both eyes open.

Joshua did not want to continue and quit on his feet.

Exactly. It's insane that these fanboys are pushing this narrative that "he was concussed!" like getting hit in the head is some novel thing in a ****ing prizefight.

They're not doctors. They aren't fighters. They're fanboys that DKSAB.

Same group of posters who tried to tell us Vladimir was "mentally unwell" before his fight with Fury and somehow emotionally not there, but then was a BETTER version of himself two years later at 41 vs. Joshua.

Pretty obvious to anyone with common sense, but we have weird fans who are in love with his muscles, that will defend him to the end of time

Wlad had personal issues vs Fury
Joshua fought the most hungry wlad ever. He was older but back to his best

Also, Joshua did not quit vs ruiz, he begged the ref to continue, it was concussion

Yes if I believe the above, I'm a complete Spastic, ******

In all seriousness, you need to be a complete imbecile to believe Aj was trying to continue

    He quit

It's heavyweight boxing mate. AJ got overzealous and was clipped by a good shot going in and never recovered.

It has happened to superior fighters before and it will happen again.

The idea that Ruiz exposed Joshua is nonsense.

Judging by most of the posts here I think that is what some of these people want.

Joshua isn't "superior" to Andy. They're 1-1, with Joshua's win being over a 283 lb version of Andy. They're on a very similar level.
