    Where have I mentioned Miranda?????

Also yes I stated if ROy Jones fought Beyer it would be criticised.....Gues what it is. The point I was making (if you could read) was that it was wholey accpetable for Kessler to fight him.

you said kessler v miranda would be close. i think kessler would dominate with his superior boxing skills and get the late round ko. i base that on the fact he has fought mistly bums and then got floored by alan green and couldnt beat abraham with a smashed up jaw and got demolished by pavlik. well then your gonna have to criticise one of your heroes of boxing mr roy jones for even contemplating fighting boom boom beyer. lol silly alias for beyer really when he has 13 ko's to his name.

Beyer held the WBC title, it was a unification and had to happen, Kessler disposed of him in 3 rounds, I'm not exactly sure how the fight will go between he and the current Roy, but I am confident Jones will win.

Beyer is not the kind of guy a superstar directly goes after, thus it can warrant criticism, but you're criticising Kessler for unifying the titles as a fighter who was still building his credentials?

He surely easily disposed of him also, nobody to date except for Kessler has taken Beyer out that effortlessly.

Miranda is such a limited fighter, I'm not so sure he'd beat Beyer if Beyer has anything left. Certainly not the early 2000's version.

Danny Green is actually a better fighter than Miranda, but you'll not find many who have even seen him fight in the western hemisphere.

I don't get why Miranda is in the equation. If people want to talk about Pavlik and Taylor having potential at SMW, that's well and fine, but Miranda is a step below those guys even.

i was talking about kessler v miranda not beyer. i think beyer should just retire. 3rd round ko by kessler just showed that

Beyer's still decent, he can be competitive with some people still, Miranda struggled with Henry Porras of all people, I don't see why Beyer can't beat him on that note.

very true. a lot of dissrespect goes on in these forums, by kids who know jack about boxing/fighting and are completely ignorant of the world scene. And all this **** about Joe's powder puff punching...i suggest to people to get hit in the face a few times with even below average power, it hurts...times that by about a thousand which is about what calzaghe lands during the coarse of a fight and it's not to hard to see why he wins fights.:deal

Calzaghe is far from a feather fist, he just has chronic hand problems and mixes bigger shots with light shots, earlier in his career he was a very good puncher and stopped a lot of guys with good chins.

On a sidenote, he's stunned/dazed/buzzed/hurt nearly everyone he's fought, light punchers don't do that.

He hits harder than Jermain Taylor, that's for certain. When he really sits down on a shot and lands, most of the time the fighter gets stunned, he just can't sustain his hardest shots like he used too because of his hand problems.

Kessler dose get overated on this forum I suspect to make Calzaghe look better. And Hamed is underated as well. But MK is way better than average.:rofl
    And calzaghe is not fraud.

  10. Only a fool can honestly say Joe can't punch powerfully, he's just smart enough to know its better to win decisevely than take a risk and when he wants to be he can be very very accurate coming from all angles and hurt his opponents with pin point shots to key areas like the solarplexus.

If Kessler goes on to dominate 168 there's going to be a helluva lot of humble pie being eaten here...

This Kris guy is one of the worst posters I've had the misfortune of seeing, which is some achievement on this forum. He's not even a WUM, he's genuinely clueless

Yes unfortunately joe has had a lot of hand problems. Even more credit to him for working around that, because i would not like to fight with my power taken away. I think that's a real measure of his confidence in his ability.

In all honesty it depends on how you determine power. i think looking at it subjectively, before joe's hands really detiorated;he did have good power. Not top level, but enough to get the job done against most fighters when you factor in his all round skills. He can punch reasonably sharply at times when he sits on his punches. His main offensive strengths have always been predominately accuracy and punch output though.

i have to agree,i thought this had been cleared up on multiple occasions about how good kessler actually is,if you watch him fight you can tell that he is no average fighter,he has a solid chin, great technique, good power and good speed and i am very confident that he will dominate miranda on his way to a mid round ko.

Hey Krisv1 - if you're going to slag off fighters, at least bother to spell their names correctly.

You would think Hopkins fans would realize to discredit Kessler in turn discredits Calzaghe...which would turn Hopkins' potential win into just another average win.

You're supposed to make your opposition look good...so in turn your guys look better.
