ABSOLUTELY not, my friend. Nothing SMW can be talked about with out Pavlik being brought up to some how prove a point.

AND Pavlik is only 25 years old, and only dumbass newbie fans hail him as an already ATG.

To be fair, I used Pavlk too, in a thread to prove that Calzaghe would do better to beat Bute than...Pavlik...remember the "how much would Pavlik weigh-in at thread??"

...let's just say...Pavlik is the gold standard!;)

...seriously, it's because Pavlik is unbeaten, the best MW around, undisputed Champ and all, and quite hyped by many already; by some not enough. It's normal that SMW's are compared to a big MW like him who says he intends to fight at SMW soon/one day.

Because these morons think SMW is weak and that Pavlik is a true P4P dynamo, I'm proving a point. I can't bash Taylor all of the time, I don't even bash Pavlik, nothing against him, it's a shame he's tied to shit****er Jermain Taylor.

How does any boxer become great? Everyone earns a reputation by beating tomatoe cans, then they fight guys who have good records from beating tomatoe cans. Then they fight guys who beat a lot of guys who beat tomatoe cans and so on. Performace is what matters. Kessler has performed in EVERY fight, even in defeat.

His performances leading up to the Calzaghe fight were nearly flawless. Regardless of who he is in the ring with you can tell when a boxer is special.

Fact is YOU are being ****ed by the media because you only base your knowledge on what they show you. You probably read boxrec and think you know everything, unless you actually wath a fight, see the performance, see the skills etc. you know nothing and are a wanker. You probably know sweet FA about his opponents other than their names and the result.

If you watch Kessler fight and Pavlik fight you would swear Kessler was the superior boxer......thats because he is!

If he barely ever lost a round to a B level fighter (which is something you said yourself) then how can he be anything other than an A level fighter?

Well all this "great" crap is boring as hell...

If you can't be great without beating a great fighter, then Hopkins isn't "great" - He has fought one "Great" that wasn't blown way out of his normal weightclass and that was RJJ - and he lost that fight... so by your sorry ass logic Hopkins isn't great.

The p4p #1 - F. Mayweather - which greats did he beat? (that wasn't too old or too fat) - only one who comes close is Hatton - who did beat Tszyu - but I'm pretty sure you consider Hatton a hudge hypejob...

So which current great fighters do we have???

Miranda has absolutely no advantages over Kessler. Not one. His punch power is totally overated and the less said about his skills, the better.

What kind of weakness, either defensively or in terms of chin, has Kessler shown to make that kind of prediction remotely valid?

If you think a fighter like Kessler is average, who climbed to number 2 in the world in his weight class, with his speed, with his timing, and with his overall ability, then you dont know **** about boxing :good

If you want to see average fighters go to you local boxing gym.... but best not mention Kessler and average together or else youll contiinue looking like a fool.

Anyone with eyes can tell Kessler is a good fighter.
