Why was Klitschko more agressive than usual?

Agreed. This is a much more important topic. Why does the man assume the fetal position after going down? Its almost as if he's looking for him mommy to cuddle him and a warm tit to nurse.

I noticed that to about thompson, maybe he thinks it makes him look like he's just chilling on the floor a bit.. ore not.. hehe

to bad he's only knockdowns has been againt wladimir klitschko. Maybe we could have seen if this is really his thing :nut

Anyway Thompson did well the first and second round, but after getting hit with that devastating right hand in 5 round you could see he didn't want no more of that and was getting very defensive and wanted out

Have you ever used your bicep as a pillow? Its so comfortable. I would do the same if I was in Tony's place. I mean, you go to sleep, might as well use a pillow. For those 5-10 seconds, it can refresh you if you sleep comfortably.

True. His mental state is at an all time high and he radiates confidence now. He's even more charismatic now in his interviews. Basically he knows he's the man. A few years ago it seemed like he was sort of unsure if he really was the champ,he referred to his brother. Not anymore. Vitali is on his way out and Wlad is the man. That being said,I think there are some tough fights out there for him. Thompson isn't an easy opponent though and I gave him at least 1 round.

Wlad fans are 100% delusional. That fight was a disgrace to heavyweight boxing.

What part of mandatory do you not understand.

And as far as embarrassments... what about Schulz-Botha for a title, or Bowe defending against a Dokes who could barely walk, or Holmes run with Rodriguez and the great Scott Frank, or how about Jose King Roman, or Frazier against Zyglewicz... or how about a 20 other heavy title defenses I could name rather that defending against the guy who was ranked as the best US heavy at the time?

One of the reasons was that they were similar in style so he could not lure him with the jab. If you are smaller than Wlad he will keep you on the end of the jab and hit you with thunder rights here and there when you try to close the distance. When he has someone similar in size with good jab he has to work himself. Honestly I've never seen him use a wider variety of punches.

Wlad adjusts his weight to adjust to the opponent, he comes in lighter for smaller quicker guys, for Thompson I think he wanted to be sure he had the weight to out-muscle him in clinches and be able impose on Thompson.

He was only more agressive after the first KD. Its like he realised, damn that was not even a hard punch and he went down.

Probably looking too deep into it IMO , a man his size can be up or down 5lbs on any given day

Wlad dominates his opponents and than he knocks them out. Wlad loves to play chess in the ring. Wlad is an intelligent man and he fights very smart.
