Yes. The question in the OP was more broad though rather than just when his last KO was. Yeah sure I do man. You don't? Elements of it are not above criticism but whose resume is?
To have 2 division titles on a line for a catchweight fight is absolutely bogus, let alone a vacant paper belt. Anyone with half a brain can see that. and I rate SRL very, very highly.
Me too! Although his Title fight against Strum was a bit sketchy....I think he was busy enough to scrap by with a "W"....I'm in a very small group who feel this way.
:good Just because it was a close fight doesn't mean he shouldn't get credit for it, same with Pac and his W over Marquez for his 130 lb championship :yep
I think PAC beat Juan in a close competitive fight in the rematch...I felt he lost the rubber match and of course we all know he got leveled in the 4th fight. But that first meeting where PAC knocked JMM down 3 times and Juan came back to make it a close fight..I thought Manny did just enough to win, but a draw wasn't a bad decision. However.....the mistake the Judge made was a BIG deal. Juan should have taken the immediate rematch but that's water under the bridge.
Yup. JMM and PAC have styles that will always present MAJOR problems for the other. That's why all their fights have been ultra close. But Juan's skill level gives him what he needs to cope with the speed and power advantages that PAC holds.
I always thought it was funny how these supposed boxing fans would always pick Manny to "Hatton" every opponent since they started liking boxing. When in reality he has mediocre power and about the same KO% as Floyd. These are the same people on here every day voting in polls and posting about Floyd. The *******s didn't know **** about boxing then, and after years very few of them have shown the mental acuity to even learn anything about the sport. It is extreme nationalism taken ridiculously far. Just look at Bradley and his family/team getting death threats from angry Pinoy :rofl
Just to shed a little perspective......Manny has great power but as he's moved up in weight, facing naturally bigger foes...his power isn't as prevalent as it was when he was facing guys his own size. PAC still have good power but it's not on the level that it was at 130 or 126...or even at the lower weight classes that PAC ran through. Felt bad for Tim and his family after he got credited for that "win". He didn't ask for the bogus decision but he caught the wrath of over passionate PAC fans.:-(
