To the thread strarters topic. Yeah PBF should have made weight and he did have the adavantage there but PBF didn't use his size to beat JMM. He used his boxing ability he didn't bully and rough up the smaller JMM he outboxed him. PBF is simply the better boxer here and if both were the exact same size I would take PBF to beat him still.

And yet you can easily see Mosley's build is almost the same when he fought Mayweather (and of course cross-reference those against FMJ vs JMM and Pac vs Mosley) yet some nuthuggers still believe that FMJ was 152 on fight night vs JMM.

Where did you get that photo capture? Usually HBO does tale of the tape and Pacquiao Mosley was on Showtime. Whatever the case, I remember Mosley being 160 along with Margarito in the Mosley Margarito fight.

Nice try, this BS picture is a fake. Pacquaio weighed at 145 in the weigh in, nothing was said about him being 144.6.

Oh, and somebody posted this fake ass picture on youtube, back in april weeks before the damn fight.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niQ81hJWyw4[/ame]

    Check the upload date.

Its a damn shame how *******s and floyd haters resort to lies and bull**** because they don't have facts to support there dumbass points.

And thats the point i was trying to prove. That didn't the weight actually slow him down as opposed to make him stronger and more physical. Its not as if he punched him the whole fight with some forceful haymakers.

What does it matter JMM was comprehensively out thought out boxed and beaten by speed people that use the weight as an excuse are misguided.

It wasnt the 2 pounds at the weigh in that we were complaining about. It was the 15 pound difference on fight night which should have been cut back some by the catch weight.

Did you just start following the sport???

You have no proof of a 15 pound weight advanatge. You're just talking out of your ass. PBF beats JMM period he has the styles advantage in this matchup and like I said ealier if both were the same size PBF would beat him.

He probably did walk in to the ring with that much extra weight over Marquez...
and yes PBF beats JMM period your right and thats exactly why no mayweather fan should even use this fight as some sort of gauge when it comes to Manny and Floyd...
Floyd could have taken a better fight he chose this one for specific reasons.

you can't even say that the extra pounds did not help floyd in any way. being way bigger means you have more punch resistance relative to the smaller guys. you don't need to bully him. jmm's punches would not have the same effect if he is about to fight a guy who is several pounds bigger than him compared to if he is fighting a guy who is about the same size as him come fight night.

aslo it's shameful the way floyd was the one waiting for the smaller man to come to him and be the counter-puncher that night. the smaller man was the aggresssor that night and showed tremendous heart fighting a guy who outsized him.
