Did it occur to you that maybe, just maybe, JMM doesn't have the punching power to bother Floyd. JMM isn't exactly known for his power. And I didn't exactly see JMM wincing when he got tagged by Floyd either.

:nonoAnd no it wouldn't have affected the complexion of the fight because Floyd fought the same way he always fights. CAUTIOUS. I didn't exactly see him drop his hands and start swinging for the fences after he smiled.

I gave you my opinion, and you gave me what literally happened. My opinion is based on Floyd always making weight. I dont think Floyd felt comfortable making 144.

have you seen any naturally smaller fighter that got hit by jmm actually smiling it off like floyd did?

floyd was hit several flush shots by jmm. if floyd just made the weight, it has a possibility to limit floyd's fight night weight and could have made him more less resistant to jmm's punches. this is a longshot but this is the idea to make the fight more competitive so as to ask for the catchweight.

saying floyd still wins is ok but to say that the weight did not have an effect on a fight even if you box your opponent is being naive. and floyd boxing and being the cautious guy against the smaller guy is quite awkward. floyd knows he is the bigger dude with all the advantages and he still played the counter-puncher in a fight between two counter-punchers.

Fine, Whatever. To each his own. YOU'RE WRONG. But believe what you wanna believe. I'm starting to think you actually thought JMM had a chance to win outside of just a puncher's chance. Did you put some money on him or something? If so, than I can understand why your hung up on those 2 pounds.

Either way you have some people that choose to dwell on 2 lbs and those that choose to let it go. I was pissed that Cotto gave in and agreed to put HIS ww title on the line against Pacquiao at a catchweight. But I don't dwell on it either because Pac had Cotto's number that night with or without those 2 pounds.

You gotta move on. Worry about JMM coming in at a even higher weight against Pac. Like a lamb to the slaughter.

Because obviously cotto is the bigger guy! What a stupid and dumb question that was.

In the gayweather vs jmm fight, who again is the vastly bigger guy? You seem to be lost in perspective.

To make it simple for your imbecilic mind, gayweather is the equivalent of cotto in analogy. Or if martinez fights Ortiz at 154 then comes at the fight at 156. In that case, gayweather is not in the mold of Ortiz but the Martinez.

Who again is the bigger guy?

before the fight, i have floyd winning this but jmm getting a couple of rounds. and that was on the perception that floyd would make the catchweight. i still have the jmm win a good win and performance for floyd (dig my old posts if you want to confirm). hindsight, i don't think those two weights would matter much but you cannot blatantly say that it would not limit floyd's weight at fight night and made him more resistant to jmm's punches. also jmm tried to balloon up to 148 at fight night which reduced his speed. actually jmm has no choice, if he retains his speed and weighed lower, he might get sparked by the bigger floyd. he traded size so as not to get stopped for his speed. i hope he does not repeat the same mistake against pac and come in in his usual 144/145 fight night range and retain his speed.

Floyd was so afraid of marquez that 50cent had to read 100 bedtimes stories. Stories about a duck finally getting some balls.

so judging from floyd trying to keep the agreed weight a secret, do you still think floyd intended to make the agreed upon weight especially that there is no evidence that floyd is actually within several pounds of 144 close to the fight?

You don't know or I don't know. See I never cared what his reason was for not making weight. I wanted to hear your opinion, and your opinion is vague You could be right as well as me. Maybe years from now when they interview Floyd, he'll tell us the true story.

    Yo, whatever floats your boat.

*****s are just ******ed to even compare PAC vs cotto or margarito with gayweather vs jmm. Not even remotely comparable.
