No I don't they probably asked Floyd and his team what was his weight they just threw a number out, why step on a scale, after refusing to.

Hatton was moving up in weight and always participated in same day weigh ins when he fought at 140 lbs. Why would he want to hide his fight night weight? Even if he did, that wouldn't stop Mayweather from weighing in on fight night. The fact of the matter is, the Baldo fight is the last fight Mayweather weighed in on fight night.

If Floyd came in at 147, I don't know that Marquez would have laced the gloves, because the fine would have been $2 Million which Marquez would have gotten half that plus the 600K.

    1. It ensured PBF had every advantage in the fight.
    2. The classless the way he handled the situation.
    3. PBF has a history of classless acts, each one further cementing his legacy as an a-hole. This added "unprofessional" to his resume; something not even his biggest detractors had previously used to describe him.

JMM could have choose to not fight and collect the 1 million plus dollars in penalties, but he elected to carry on.

Still does not change the fact that Floyd disregarded his contracted weight agreement. That was unprofessional. I don't understand how anybody could defend that.

Not disagreeing. Try reading what some are saying. IT wasn't that the two pounds made the difference, it didn't. It's that Floyd decided not to honor the agreement originally made. As if the weight difference wasn't already huge enough.

 YOu realy don't know how to discuss a point....

Floyd cheated. He didn't want to suffer making 144 so he cheated JMM by handing him 600k and weighing in on fight night at 170. Don't worry, God will allow Pacquiao to do the right thing AND as usual make Floyd look evil.

Does that sound like a good idea to you? I guess I am asking, you would be perfectly fine if JMM cancelled the fight due to the weight Floyd chose not to lose?

The backlash would have been huge. Boxing already has had more black eyes then the boxers have. Cancelling a fight due to the unprofessionbalism of one of the combatants would have been greatly detrimental to all.

DO you take into consideration all the time and money put into the fight? And to have it just cancelled because one guy didn't try to make weight?

I really don't see how you guys just act like it was nothing, or that Floyd did nothing wrong at all. You floyd fans amaze me...

Only correction, Floyd weighed in at 146, not 147.
