Because they promoted the fight as if it was a catchweight fight @ 144 lbs then at the last second they decided no it will not be a catchweight fight.

A weight drained mayweather wouldn't be as effective :deal

JMM's team said afterwards, there was a clause in the contract stating they weren't allowed to discuss the weight of the fight to the press. Which if you noticed, they always called it "Welterweight fight" in promotions, and Schaefer was always vague about the weight in talks for the first few months.

If he struggled to make weight means he rehydrated up a lot. JMM says he was 15 pounds heavier. Judging from the difference of floyd from judah to the JMM fight he was noticably bigger in JMM fight. Comparing floyd to judah and his mosley fight he is even bigger. No way is he low 150. He was bigger then mosley and mosley was around 160 at fight night. Emmanuel steward thought so. JMM said he was 15 pounds heavier. Jmm thinks floyd will beat pac and the *****s believe him. Yet when jmm says floyd was 15lbs heavier u don't believe it. Khan noticed the difference.

2 pounds was not a big deal to JMM nor Nacho... those guys have been through this more than all of use combined... so to argue that it was some sort of huge advantage it wasnt.
if it were JMM and Nacho wouldnt have taken the money.

All you butt hurt ****wits ask yourself a simple reason

Was size the reason Floyd won? No.

Size doesn't help you counter punch sharper than your opponent. Size doesn't help you evade the punches your opponent throws and size definitely doesn't gift you technical mastery over your opponent.

    Therefore, size matters ****.

2 pounds is not a big deal, but a drained Floyd the fight could have been closer.

Right, so you want fighters to all fight weight drained?

You're a ****ing ******, the fight was so one sided you could have torn one of Floyd's arms off and he'd still win

So is that what this is about you want to see Floyd drained? be ****ing real, Pac fans should not ever for one second be in favor of a fighter showing up drained no fans of the sport should for that matter.
but its ****ed up that Pac fans seem to think this is the only way to make the fight on even terms.. its not go out there stick to your game plan and maybe you wont need Pappa Roach demanding insane catch weights when you fight.
