grueling pace set early . cotto was moving alot hence he was a lil out of gas come round 9 10 i dont think cotto's body punches slowed mosley at all

he didnt looked gassed to me. more like frustrated.

i believe Mosley was surprised at how easy Cotto was landing on him and didnt have a gameplan to deal with it.

I doubt if he was gassed - probably more frustrated then anything.

I think he was a bit winded but hes 36 and the it was a brutal pace and it also took its toll on Cotto in the later rounds as well. Shanes got great stamina thats always been a big thing in his carrer he was the fresher fighter with DLH and won both fights down the stretch that way,he was beatup in the middle rounds with Vargas and came back in rounds 8,9 and 10 to force a stoppage and we saw him comeback vs Cotto for the last 4 and I thought he won it with that late rally. Great fight though and mad props to both warriors.

Man, Mosley was gassed as of the 3rd round. matter of fact look at the end of the second. He was breathing heavy with his mouth piece out and steward mentions something about this.

Maybe so but if hes gassed in the 2nd dont u think hed be dead on his feet at the end of 12 rounds but he was the one coming forward and putting it on Cotto who was in retreat mode. It was a brawl and it took its toll on both. There should be a rematch but Oscar if he wants Cotto will get Cotto although Shane deserves it more.

He got his second wind for sure, but take a look at the fight again and tell me what you see.

And Cotto was in retreat mode putting it on mosley with the heavy shots. Cotto was out boxing Mosley, what does it matter if your coming forward but taking more punishment?

  12. Mosley is 37 years old, time and the hard fight's are probaly catching up with him, but he finished the fight stronger than Cotto did, and many including myself thought he should have won the DAMN fight:verysad

Boxing politics and Cotto fighting in his home base of New York, had an effect on the judges..:-(

I was dying for Mosley to win that fight. I gave Mosley every benefit of the doubt. Mayweather vs. Mosley was going to be awesome imo! but realtalk, Cotto won by 2 rounds, Cotto had better reflexes at this point in mosley's career.

  14. I agree 100% Cotto-Mosley was close i watched
it twice and i thought Shane won, but to keep it real Cotto will NOT beat Mayweather:-( FM is to fast, to good a boxer and to hard to hit, for Cotto.

Mosley was gassed at the end of round one. I noticed he was clearly breathing heavily from the outset. I attribute this to age and ring wars catching up with him.
