Isn't it obvious because mosley beat margarito as in really beat him while paul barely won the fight

My point wasnt to discredit Shane. Im just pointing out the fact that mosely got so much hype after the fight like he had done the impossible. When Paul had already done it! Shane got so much press, and so many opportunities from that fight. Paul got nothing. Which is sad cause i think he could have cleaned out that division.

**** Margo! That dirty ******* got exactly what he deserved! He did not give a **** for all the guys he could have did serious damage to with that f'n plaster . . . I wish they had a rematch so SSM could do it all over again! Its funny how when he was allowed to fight again in calls Out Cotto(e) and not the guy who whipped his ass from one side of the ring to the other. Yup, a real tough guy . . . I hope he wroughts in hell:deal

I agree with you.. I would like to see Tony hang them up as well. Tony is too tough for his own good.. He took 2 god awful beatings at the hands of Mosley and Pacquiao. I was at the Shane Mosley fight and Shane was landing some sick ass shots through out the fight.. Tony couldn't deal with the speed and Shane clinched alot. Then we have the Pacquiao fight, even more brutal than the Mosley fight. Manny beat him up so bad he needed surgery after the fight.

Tony has a rugged style and factor in he's been fighting pro since he was 15 years old. He's really shot now and I think Bob is going to use him as a stepping stone for Chavez Jr.! :verysad With the ****ed up eye, being shot and his overall wear and tear I just don't see Tony doing much @ 154 in the near future! The ride was fun while it lasted.

Because Mosley pummeled him while Paul Williams eked out a decision.

No he didn't want to fight shane again . . . after his comeback fight the name he mentioned was Cotto. MF must have been have'n nightmares at night, probably has to have a night light thinking SSM is gonna jump out da closet:lol:

His Punk ass name should be banned from these boards:deal

    It was a smoke screen.

Mosley might of done okay against Cotto but he was showing his age then! imo. There were times where Cotto would beat him to the punch and his reflexes weren't quick enough to pick up the counters. At times Cotto was hitting him and sliding underneath before he could react and pick up the counter. The only reason the fight ended up being fairly close is because Cotto has always had stamina problems so he ran toward the end, which let Mosley establish a momentum in the fight by applying pressure. Mosley looked terrible against Mayorga to. Infacts its debatable whether he would of won if not for a last min KO.

His win against Margo was a smoke screen because he was allowed to hold excessively which cut down Margo's activity level, and aided Mosley because he was able to work he wanted to, and rest when he wanted. Style-wise he's always been physically very strong and a terrific body-puncher, so when all this culminated we got the result we did. However when the Mayweather fight was made I told anyone who would listen that Mosley would get dominated, and that he was done, that the Margo win was a smoke screen.

He mentioned it several times in various interviews! Bob set up his fight with Cotto.. Tony would fight anyone! He's more of a man than anyone on this board! He's ready to die in the ring.. He's a ****en savage! When he steps between those ropes it's not childs play.. It's savagery! It's some **** you don't understand... :hi:
