He is 25/26 years old and only fought once in 2007.

I don't want to say he's feared. Cause I don't think anyone's afraid of him, but his style is big problems for anyone.

He will end up moving to 154 in 2-4 fights. Someone of his height and size just can't continue making 147.

In fact, most of his fights have been above 147. Only six of his thirty fights have been below 147. He has even fought at 160.

Probably, he is very big for 147. I can see him at 147 for maybe a year more.

Yea but him making 145 1/2 showed he can still make 147 for a little bit longer.

The better your resume is, the harder it is to get fights. Thats all I am going to say.

Seems odd I dont think its his decision at all. There wer erumours of williams fighting a lot of people ...cintron ect. but some people fell through. Although paul is inactive in actual ring terms, I gaurantee he trains almost every day...and is ALWAYS looking to fight.

But wasn't their fight scheduled for February 2008?

It still means that Williams would have fought only once in 2007.

Well, Williams' resume is not so great yet. He has only beat Margarito and shot Sharmba Mitchell.

But it might be hard for Williams to get fights because of his style and size at 147.

No T.V. dates or opponents - therefore No Fight!

    It is frustrating as ****.
Love to see him face off against Cotto with the winner fighting pbf.

    Can't see it happening though

Williams is not very accomplished and very hard toe-to-toe.

I can't see Cotto or Mayweather accepting a fight with him. They would be smart by refusing to fight him.

:thumbsup Look at the big brains on KayEpps. That's correct, a lack of T.V dates and viable opponents have left Williams without much action in 2007.

As a world champion his team had serious problems finding ANYONE to face him in his first title defense.

Then they came to agreement on a Williams-Cintron unification fight for February, but Cintron hurt his hands so bad back in November in his great fight against the super-talented Feliciano that they pulled out to let those seriously injured hand heel for a good few months. That's why he's fighting Margarito in April, because all of the sudden Manny Steward found a cure to heal those seriously injured hands in just a few days!

    A miracle has happened!

And what fights does he have on his resume that are so great?? up until 07 he had a washed up Sharmba and Mathysse.
Margo is really his only notable fight. Which didnt impress many people.
