Negatory, I am an equal fan of both fighters. Yes, size played a factor, but Loma was clearly the more skilled guy on that night and Rigo hadn't faced anybody like that. And besides Loma himself said that he didn't deserve credit for that win because Rigo was coming up in weight. Although I don't completely agree with it. It was a very good win. At the end of the day, take away the Rigo fight and Loma still has one of the best resumes of current fighters, and Rigo is still the guy to beat at 122, and probably 126.
Before he was getting hit, he was only getting hit because he wanted to look more vulnerable to get bigger fights. As for GGG's prime, it's between the time they told us how Canelo "CFSGTWSVTL" Alvarez was going to get laid out by Gennady "KPSCORCPM" Golovkin, and somewhere between the 4th-8th round of their first fight. As for Canelo's prime, his prime started during his ring walk for the 1st GGG fight. To make it easier to read the middle names I've put the initials of in Canelo - cement feet small gas tank who struggled vs Trout/Lara and GGG second - killer pressure, superb at cutting off the ring, combination punching master
This. They still bring up the size difference even though NOWHERE in the fight did it come into play in favor of Loma. And Rigo tried his best to foul after seeing his buddy Ward get away with it. One was a blatant elbow attempt. An actual Thai boxing elbow! Lol ****ing dirt bag.
And they’re the same ones who fail to mention Wladimir’s inactivity going up to the Joshua fight, almost two years... AT 41 YEARS OLD. Lol Rigondeaux fought Chucky months prior to the Loma fight and fought the year prior too. He was at least in the ring on and off and training. They like to reach
This. Loma was just too good for him. Rigo resorted to blatant dirty tactics because he couldn't compete the way he wanted too or simply wasn't allowed, so he quit. Straight forward case
