Why was Robert Guerrero even given a shot at title???

Manny fought for a title at ww after having 1 fight there 1 at 140 and 1 at 135..listen to the crap you spew....Mosley skipped over 140 and won a title at 147

 

when was the last damn time manny ko'd anyone? 2009??thats 4 damn years ago

+1. Guerrero won the right to fight Floyd by beating Berto for the WBC Interim championship. What part of that is so difficult to understand?

 

I know as fans we crave for transparent not for profit rankings but in the real world the belts carry power.

Rob moved up to ww with the sole intention of forcing a fight with Floyd. Aydin and Berto sat above him in the wbc rankings and no matter how they're regarded by fans, the reality was they were the obstacle to Floyd. Guerrero ran that course and earnt his shot.

I'm not saying i was thrilled by the fight, but noone should be criticised for going the mando route.

 

Because he's no fraud, he's a top 20 p4p. He's tough, but Mayweather is simply in another league. Money is the most dominant boxer of the last 10 years.
