After he admitted to using steroids/epo before the fight?

Shouldnt they have at the very least changed it to a no contest?

On top of that, Shane Mosley shouldn't have won the second fight, DLH clearly won imo.

I think DLH mistakenly did not pursue to get the decision changed because it would make for bad business relations.

The Roid confession came out after Mosley was working for Oscar.

Yeah it would be bad for GBP for Mosley's rep to suffer and its in their best interest to keep his clean cut image.

Though DLH should be pissed especially when he tends to fade down the stretch and lost the later rounds and Mosley admitted to being on EPO for better stamina.

I've read the excerpts of ODH's book and it reads like Oscar didn't want to believe that his close friend was really a doper. He chooses to ignore it to maintain his friendship. It's flawed, but I understand why he doesn't face the facts, ODH that is.

regardless though of hoya, you would think some sort of ruling body would overturn it out of, well... the truth.

Fact is, the fight should be turned to a no contest.

What Mosley said under oath, can they use that to change the result? Or will the Athletic Commission have to open their own investigation and trial to over turn the decision? Mosley was never on trial himself. He was called in to testify against Balco.

That is the problem here. They (Commissioner) should have went after this but didn't. Had they done this it would have sent a clear and loud message back then and we may have a different boxing world.

EPO was not a banned substance at the time.

He did pass all the tests. It should also be noted that most of the other dopers from Balco beat Wada testing as well. Since then testing has improved, obviously.

That aside, when the Feds raided Balco labs, they found the doping reports that showed Mosley was on HGH, TGH, and EPO. His last EPO injection was about 5 days before the ODH fight.
