Why was Tarver so lacklusrte against Hopkins?

    Roy was finished after Tarver, not before. Roy was fine for the rematch, he just got caught with a huge punch early. The same punch Del Valle caught him with years earlier. Tarver hits a lot harder than Del Valle.

    I think Tarver went into this fight looking to make a statement by blowing Hopkins out of there quick and ended up lost, confused and overwhelmed by Hopkins' performance. If anyone remembers the build up to this fight it's clear Tarver pretty much overlooked Hopkins as a serious threat.

    I didn't bet against Hopkins again after that fight... That is until recently...
