    Godfrey never signed. They couldn't get a TV deal, so Godfrey didn't think there was enough money in it.

    Wow. If I was trying to be taken seriously as a Cruiserweight contender, I think I'd accept a fight against the CHAMPION OF THE WORLD whether it was on HBO WCB, Box Azteca, mainevents.com, or a god damn dark match in Paris, Arkansas. :-(

    Its just common sense. Both want to be well compensated, if they are going to be brutally knocked out. Same goes for Hopkins.
