Which? The fact it was in a European Tax Haven and Gambling Capital, or that some people on here think its in Africa?
Amazingly most Americans wouldn't know the difference between Morocco and Monaco, I have family along the East coast and have been to the US 3 times. Trust me, outside of Canada & Mexico there's very little interest in the outside world. Which is pretty scary stuff seeing as they're armed to the teeth, have troops stationed in over 150 different countries and they're a pretty gun-ho nation. 'shoot now ask questions later'.
Its this windup naysayer, kept going on like "if GGG is such a star, why is he fighting off TV in a third world country", stressing 3rd world multiple times lol
Props for Golovkin to even take this high risk/low reward fight. Adama is a pretty tough, athletic dude that Geale struggled with. GGG looked like a boss, so I guess it worked out.
Have you read the recent interview of GolovCAN's manager on the subject of Andre Ward. It went something along the lines of; "We want to know what area code Andre Ward is in at all times so we can be sure to steer clear" Call me when GolovCAN comes off of his "Bum of the Month" tour...
Monaco has a special place in boxing history. Carlos Monzon defended the MW title there multiple times, and I think Hagler fought on his undercard there once aswell.
