Tito only went down once and from a flash KD...Tito was landing some heavy head shots throughout the entire fight...It was Vargas' youth that kept him going until the 11th before Tito stopped Vargas and vargas looked and sounded different after that fight. BTW...I've boxed most of my life and got hit low many times...it painful yes, but it doesn't wipe your energy out completely,...it hurts, but it's not like a ****ing liver shot for God sakes... you can't blame a low blow for a bad chin or maybe not a bad chin, but a chin that would eventually give out considering the clean and thunderous punches Vargas recieved.. If you ever boxed you would know this...it's just excuses from Vargas and his cry baby fans:deal
OK, you have a great point. You're the boxer and you should know. But have you ever fought a fight while Tito Trinidad is punching you in the balls repeatedly? Not any other boxers, I'm talking about Tito ****en Trinidad! That guy can smash a hole in a pick up truck and he's aiming at your family jewels!
Vargas was never the same after but the truth is tito beat him down. vargas never complained about the shots afterwards. he took his loss like a man. im not sure if he really wanted a rematch.
trinidad has to resort to punching him low on purpose to win thats a fact. and no i dont say that because i was a huge fan of vargas i own the fight on dvd. the tide was turning and boom vargas got low blowed HARD multiple times. im sure it took some steam out of vargas.
well i mean its done now. if vargas felt that strongly about it he coulda went with a rematch. not to mention all that tongue flappin he did prior to the fight. he was real quiet afterwards. he knew he lost. just like he did vs de la hoya. not to say the guys isnt a tough cookie but sometimes u know when u cant beat someone
