No this is not true. He told to the media he want a rematch and he told it to his promoter. Than Kohl asked Sanders for a rematch and Sanders wants 2,5 Million. To much for Kohl.
I would never ever put too much money against Sanders. If he would be in any type of boxing shape.. could suprise anybody. by the way i love the fight Sanders had against Bert Cooper, what a speed. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q3ggEVEnCw[/ame]
Sanders wanted to unify with Glass Jaw Roy Jones and Roy acted like he wanted the fight but knew damn well he didn't want to put his fragile Glass Jaw out there for Sanders to shatter so Sanders then dropped the WBO to fight Vitali for the vacant WBC belt and a $980,000 payday. It was out of Wlad's control he did not duck a Sanders rematch.
This rematch need to happen as bad as Tyson vs. Buster Douglas part 2. Make it happen. I'd buy this for 10 bucks on PPV, even if it didn't happen til 2012 !
It would of ended the same way. Sanders was a dangerous southpaw, tall, powerful, and quick. Wlad couldn't figure him out.
Why do you think Wlad is on the golf course? The fight clearly haunts him. He is preparing for Sanders even today.
Sanders was being cornered into a rematch with wlad, by universum, wlad wanted a rematch, it was sanders that did not want one, that is WHY he did not defend the WBO belt, cause he knew he had to rematch wlad Sanders was pissed that wlad was to get a rematch right away, an he moved on...... Anways, vitali took care of buisness
PRICELESS. I remember laughing at this. I love how Sanders does not EVEN look like a boxer. All his power is in his back. It's ridiculous how fast he is too, just looking at him you would never guess that firepower is gonna swing outta him. I wish he would make one more ring return for Wlad's biggest nightmare. Unlike the Brewster KO, Sanders was the REAL DEAL
Some said it was Sanders who didn't want rematch.... it is only part of the true. Indeed, Sanders initially choosed bigger $$$ for Vitali, refusing to rematch Wlad, then after losing to Vitali he retired next year. He made a comeback later though (I understood there were some financial problems involved), and, since he won with Wlad, this time he was trying to get much delayed rematch. However, even for voluntary defence the challenger has to be ranked somewhere in top15 (do not remember exactly), which in practice means he has to beat a couple of tomate cans first. I guess Wlad would've granted him his 2nd chance, but the problem with Sanders was that one of those tomate cans actually KO'd him (about 3'00''): [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8Or_cL5tHc"]www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8Or_cL5tHc[/ame]
Release the hate bro, it'll set you free. Then you can post about fighters you like to watch & maybe learn something.
