why wasn't Dubois agressive like that against Usyk?

Joshua’s a bigger target than Usyk and missing big against Usyk will result in Dubois walking into a counter.

 

If Usyk takes Fury again I'd like to see a rematch, I think it'd be a totally different fight

 

Usyk is a master at adjustments, ring iq and has an unparalleled second and third wind towards the middle and end of fight.

 

Timing is everything. Usyk was able to time and catch Dubois much more effectively forcing him to reset.

 

Usyk footwork.

 

He tried during their fight. But it's not great against Usyk. Usyk's defence is better and he maintains it especially during later stages of the fight. Usyk also has great movement and ability to neutralise his opponent throughout the fight.

Also Dubois had an element of punching himself out during the Usyk fight. It was a little bit evident in the Joshua fight but Joshua wasn't able to capitalise.

Because as most have stated Usyk has elite defense -footwork etc
If you go out throwing bombs v Usyk you only have hope that one lands but most likely you miss constantly and gas completely and get picked off by hundreds of hurtful punches until he decides you have had enough punishment and stops you..

 

Also as a southpaw Usyks lead hand took Dubois jab away. AJ couldn't do that to Dubois.

 

He wasn't fighting an artist this time.

 

Because Usyk would have shattered his glass jaw even quicker.

 

Usyk's elite footwork, head movement, counter punching, speed flustered Dubois...Usyk also has a granite chin and unbelievable stamina. Dubois cannot beat Usyk, he's all wrong for him matchup wise.

It's a case of "styles make fights".
