Why wasnt Morales vs Matthysse announced on HBO even before the fight was called off?

Im starting to believe more and more that matthysse was payed to step aside, when watching the 2nd episode of 24/7 they give you the upcoming events... martinez - barker, lee - vera2 , may-ortiz alvarez-gomez but they dont mention morales- matthysse which was a big fight and part of the PPV card..... and a few days later matthysse pulls out..... i mean they had BAD (not ppv) triple header a few months back..... why not even mention the living legend and mexican icon Morales as being part of card and even fighting for a 4th title??? :think

I didn't notice that but I doubt Lucas would step aside. A chance to knock out a Mexican legend on a Mayweather undercard isn't something you pass up.

    isn't it obvious?

Lucas was paid step aside money so the quitter morales can be handed his 4th title in another weight division .

Mathysse would've been a hell of a challenge for Morales. So it's a possibility.
