Why wasn't Sean O'Sullivan a world beater?

    Silver medalist in the olympics, Gold at the Worlds trained by SRL, why did he never win a title in pro boxing?

    Why? Because he wasn`t good enough.

    That's not entirely true, it was because he was put in the ring Simon Brown in just his 12th pro fight. He was never the same after suffering his first loss by third round knock out.

    Exactly.
    Basically a "B" class fighter who fought mostly hand picked opponents.
    Like Paul Molitor.

    I remember that fight. Sullivan had red welts on his body from Brown's bodyshots after 3 rounds.
