Why wasn't the IBF title on the line last night?

Just wondering, how come Alexander was stripped? I must have missed the story cause I didn't realise until Bradley only had 2 belts on that it wasn't up for grabs.

Because Alexander was stripped for not facing the almighty Kaizer Mabuza.

Not to worry. Khan will beat Bradley and then fight Judah for it in the fall.

Apparently Bradley and Suliman settled their differences i.e. Bradley agreed to pay.

Mabuza did stop Holt in 6 rounds, who in his previous fight went 12 with Bradley and knocked him down twice. Alexander could have easily faced Mabuza instead of Kotelnik.

it's ok because now judah will become a player and as such increases the number of fights to be made. lets say khan has 3 fights this year.

    prescot - bradley - judah.

or if hbo for some wil reason decide to make the rematch

    prescot - judah - bradley.

either way it gives the big boys chance to battle it out whilst the likes of matthyse/maidana/kotelnik/alexander can fight it out and challenge for on of the vacant belts when the champ moves up (which i'm sure both bradley and khan will do)
