What happened? Brewster beat wladimir in april 2004 and vitali beat corrie sanders also in april 2004 to become wbc heavyweight champion again!
Here brewster was calling out vitali klitschko after he beat wladimir!

But instead Vitali fought danny williams! which was his last fight before he had to retire for 4 years due to injury!
And brewster fought meehan at the end of 2004!
Man i would have loved to see that fight!
    Prime brewster vs prime vitali:bbb

vitali would kick his ass. Everybody knew wlad was drugged, and then wlad proceeded to destroy him in the rematch.

no ass kicking by vitali necessary.

It took a lot of scullduggery to get that belt back to the US. Why give it back?

Well danny williams knocked out shot mike tyson and got a lot of hype back then if i remember correctly! I think thats why vitali choose to fight williams instead of brewster

Rival promoters would have had to come together to make this fight. It's very rare that rival promoters do such a thing, as each promoter is reluctant to risk the marketability of their respective champion. The promoters want to continue making big money off of their champions for as long as possible, without risking loss in a big unification bout.

Yes, Vitali would have beaten Brewster in a big way. Almost everyone agrees on this. Thus, it would have been stupid for Don King to put Brewster in with Vitali, who had a different promoter. A Brewster defeat would have ruined business for King.

This is the same rationale that inclined Don King and Sauerland to keep Valuev away from both K Bros.

The only way around a problem like this would have been if K2 paid Don King (and Sauerland, in Valuev's case) a huge amount of money to make Brewster-Vitali, or a K Bros vs Valuev. The extra money would compensate King/Sauerland for loss of future revene after the Bros. beat Brewster and Valuev. But of course, K2 wasn't going to do this: it wasn't worth it to them financially.

Another option would have been for K2 to give Don King (and Sauerland, in Valuev's case) options on Vitali after he whipped Brewster and/or Valuev. But K2 had no rational motive to give these options.

Remember: big time boxing is big time business in the end. Economics decides everything.

There was never an offer on the table for Vitali to fight Brewster. King would have demanded too much compensation to allow this fight to happen.

Vitali would of destroyed Lamon, just like Wlad was doing before he mysteriously lost all of his energy.

Get over it: Baby Klit punched himself out. Failed to pace himself. It didn't help that Brewster landed a few mean-assed hooks to the body, too.
