pbc has been the subject of a couple of anti-trust lawsuits. I don't know who's filing those suits, but all I can say is gbp and arum have the most to gain. juries are swayed by public opinion....if the fans show support for haymon, he'll be vindicated. this is a good thing because it will allow mr. haymon to legally take over the sport of boxing. boxing will become a monopoly just like all the major league sports (nfl, nba, nhl, mlb, mls)...with the same rules: the best have to compete against the best. if haymon took over boxing we would see these fights EVERY fkin weekend. ggg-canelo/lara/Jacobs/cotto/bjs lsc-rigo/loma/grj/Frampton, etc wlad-ortiz/wilder/Joshua Andrade-lara/charlos/ Crawford-broner/postol/provodnikov/peterson spence-khan/Thurman/berto/Garcia etc, etc, etc...boxing would just build up and build up with bigger and bigger fights every year. it would BETTER than the old days with ali, foreman, Norton, frazier, or srl, hearns, duran, hagler, benitez. in the long run, the fans would benefit the most. this would bring more money and more popularity to boxing, making it even more attractive for investment, leading ultimately to even bigger and bigger fights. makes no sense to see boxing fans to root against haymon. he's the only one making an honest effort ot bring boxing into a modern age. fight fans should instead rally around haymon and make sure he gets his way so he can clean up the sport and make a better world for us all.
why don't you root for aiba taken over boxing, their ranking system and the best fight the best is way more accountable than any other system and they only have 10 divisions and 1 champion we should all be rooting for aiba
trust me....even if it makes perfect sense and would give us all the fights we crave and would make everything easy.....theyd root against it anyway...if haymons name is attached...because they are pathetic ****s
their vision for boxing is better than mr.haymons, they have a worldwide grassroots system and infrastruture and only 10 divisions with one champion and the ranking system is the best there is:good
if haymon had the perfect blueprint for world peace and to end world hunger....80 percent of these losers would be like "f_ck him"
I'm just saying...boxing has the potential to be even MORE popular than nfl in america or football in Europe. this is because boxing brings more drama...it's elemental. people all over the world can relate to some hand-to-hand combat. the problem with boxing as a sport is, it's mismanaged...grossly mismanaged by a bunch of lame assholes...arum...Oscar. lame as ****. they DETRACT from boxing's potential...they corrupt the sport to the point where the average person with any brains looks at boxing as a lowlife sport with no rules and no organization. that's the thing that has driven off MOST of the fans from the sport...when that happens, we ALL lose. if y'all want to see the way to manage a fukin sport, look at the nfl. that's a PROFESSIONALLY run organization...they put a lot of thought into the management and officiating and where the games will be played and what time of day and the IMAGE of the organization...they not some bottom-of-the-barrel, raggedy scrubs like arum and dlh running the sport into the ground and acting like clueless idiots who couldn't care less. mr. haymon is a Harvard grad. he's a superior intellect...he has a vision for boxing...fully develop its potential and market it and manage it in a way that makes the best use of its capabilities. under haymon, ALL boxing would be under ONE umbrella, just like pro football players and the nfl....so, they would have NO CHOICE who they fought...they'd HAVE to fight the NEXT guy in line or else...that would be a whole better state of affairs than we have now...if haymon gets his, in 20 years, we would be looking back and saying "damn, I can't believe boxing was so dysfunctional back in the day that the top fighters couldn't fight each other because they were on different NETWORKS? or had different PROMOTERS? what kind of stupid schit was that?"
might take a while but the AIBA model with wsb boxing and then APB boxing is amazing only organisation in the world with an entire grassroots system in every country 10 divisions 1 champion per division rankings are really fair, best have to fight the best whats not to like
boxing does not have the potential to become more popular than football in europe, no sport can even come within a tenth of the popularity of football in europe, its bigger than religion i prefer AIBA over haymon , they have a better system
I'll always root for the sport of boxing, I'm not rooting for any of the power brokers involved, let the chips fall where they may
