i know its completely insane. even in them countries soccer and baseball would still provide huge competition at least with aiba's attempt to take over boxing they have a organisation in every country and a huge grassroots system similar to that of fifa. if they did control boxing they could pump money back into grassroots boxing and maybe in a long time down the road this could lead to a substantial improvement in boxing popularity.
exactly...you speak only for yourself. don't try and impose your sense of limitations on others. from my perspective, it looks very much like haymon thinks boxing can rival any big league sport...including soccer in europe and football in america. but like i said, you've been raised to see the world a certain way, and you're set in your ways... so no one expects you to understand where a guy like him is coming from.
No it cant as i said in Ireland the best boxing could ever hope for is 5th You more than likely have never even been to Europe yet your trying to tell people that boxing can become bigger than soccer, that's insane
ok...you agree with me for once. you can't understand him, and you should never try. you and haymon are of two completely different mindsets, but you should have already figured that out just by being around for as long as you have.
Meh, they're probably all in it for themselves, though not necesserily a bad thing if it helps boxing... What Haymon is doing though looks "promising", if he could monopolize it Dana White style, maybe it'd turn out for the better, but at the same time, it looks too big of an ordeal and seems totally unsustainable. It will probably end up being detrimental to the sport when the whole thing implodes.
Ok, as far as the existence of god goes. I'm not saying you are wrong to believe in a deity of some kind. But he may not exist. I'm not saying he doesnt, but he may not.
Excellent post! The Good Lord may not exist but it's hard to prove or disprove such an existence. If you think about it. Actually your post could be terrible.
It could be terrible and excellent, or either or none at all. Maybe just average, but I'm not saying that. You point is logical in a sense that it makes no sense, it is the opposite of logical, but I see the logic in that.
Well it makes no sense because I was trying to cover all my bases, which makes sense, right? Although bringing baseball into it makes no sense, I don't know why I did that. :?
