Why we need Calzaghe/Hopkins !

1. For obvious reasons ! A fight thats been 10 + yrs in the making !

2. A fight between arguably the best middleweight and supermiidlewight of our generation or in recent times .

3. A 24/7 with Hopkins and Calzaghe ! The war of words between these 2 is enough for their own show!!!

Reasons why we don't:

1. Hopkins is nearly shot.

 

we need JC to knock B-Hop into retirement

 

I love reason number 3. I just love those HBO preview shows.

 

I want to see how Calzaghe measure up this version of Hopkins. Hopkins has still yet to be dominated let alone KO'd and if JC demolishes Hopkins like the way Pac punished MAB on their first fight, that will remove any doubt about his resume.
Over and over again, I keep reading Hopkins being written off by Calzaghes boys, I want to see it. His win against Kessler was impressive, show me more.

 

I just want to see two of the best in the ring against each other. That's all. I've been reading some threads in this forum and it has me scratching my head. This would be a good match.

 

It would be a shame if this fight doesn't happen.

 

I think the same amount of fans who are tuning in to watch Hatton /MW will do the same for Calzaghe and Hopkins ..

 

and so too hopkins if you consider him fighting smaller fighters and mediocre guys.

 

it's very much the other way round at the moment, calzaghe is being written off again, ala kessler & lacy.

 

calzaghe will **** hopkins up severely.i dont think hopkins really wants the fight.i think hes got his fingers crossed that tito beats roy so he can face tito& be in a winnable superfight.
