The point is great fighters comes in different molds. No style trumps one another and fantasy matchups are just that a dream. When great meets great. Its 50/50 at best. Thats my point.

That's what happens in boxing, but the IDEAL thing prizefighters should strive for is to hit and not get hit. The closer anything is to perfection, the moar valued it is.

This isn't true. Frazier-Foreman off the top of my head. Remember that styles do make fights.

I understand that dream fight are just that dreams. But a great fighter vs great fighter theory being 50/50 is up for debate. one of them will always be look at to have an edge somehow and most of the time it is their defense that makes the most difference IMO.

Theres a difference between entertainment and skill. People tend to just go with entertainment . It's why mma is so popular .

lol not really Wilfred Benitez has arguable better defense than Floyd and has better pop and Leonard took it to him. This **** is unpredictable. Even the Foreman-Frazier fight people including Ali was astounded Frazier lost. What people need to do is stop shits like this would clown this fighter. Yeah if its different level but when youre talking about the handful of elites, ****..throw them fantasies out the winow. Its heart, guts and balls that will win.

Subjective. You name 5 fights I name 5 fights this will go in circles. most people who watch or box or train will tell you that when a Puncher Vs Boxer if you will fight they will pick the boxer most of the time that is not to say the puncher can not beat the boxer. And yes heart, guts and balls can take you far but it is skills that pay the bills lol

Were you around before to see Tyson before he got slid. It's very similar to all the hype Manny has right now. Tyson GOAT.

A puncher/brawler is someone like Marciano, Gomez..Id give a boxer an edge yet still wouldnt be comfortable with it with Rockys pedigree. A Boxer-Puncher like Duran, id absolutely be more comfortable to pick against a Whitaker.

But Ill put it another way, If you pit a Salvador Sanchez against an average boxer..believe me you'll be entertained if you want destruction in that ring. But a boxer, even if dominant sometimes fails to produce the same spectacle

You better put the pipe down. Tyson was an absolute animal when his head was straight. That ***** Givens ruined him. He ate Olypic gold medalists for brunch and dont give me Lewis, thats a shell of Tyson. Anyway, I dont rank Tyson in top 50 so its almost irrelevant
