How can you be a fan of boxing and ask such a dumb question. Benn was a great fighter Bruno too. Both of them man are legends.
Benn was similar to Tyson, a once in a generation type fighter, Frank was loved because he was down to earth.
Both men fought the best around... from Eubank, McClellan, Watson to Tyson and Lewis. Win or lose they entertained. Benn was just a ****ing animal and in my opinion the most exciting fighter to ever come from British shores. A vicious puncher that loved a tear up... but could also walk into one trying to knock his man out. So often you'd see him get clipped and be visibly hurt yet he'd try to come back firing. Bruno always came across as a nice humble fella but he could seriously crack yet had his vulnerabilities (e.g. stamina). The crowd literally dragged him across the line the night he finally became world champion against McCall

Benn was absurdly exciting to watch. The ultimate all or nothing Fighter who was in some hair raising wars. Frank was basically an invention but hugely well marketed. Despite this, it was very difficult not to like him.
Not sure Benn was loved but he was well liked because everybody hated Eubank and he was an entertaining all action fighter. Came out of the army and left it all in the ring whoever he fought. Bruno was seen as an amiable and easily caricatured oaf at a time when there was no British heavyweight out there. Ability wise he was one dimensional but that added to his plucky underdog status. Was defo more beloved than Lewis who never really won over the wider public or probably Joshua or Fury are now despite having nowhere near the same achievements.
Benn- obvious. Bruno less so, all the above I go with, also we saw us in him, not the best nether will be, but a tryer giving of his best , no complaints over the path he chose, nor the loses on balance, he was a man child on some levels, but a likable man none the less. keep well.
