And what makes Chavez a good win?

And Williams was a fighter any where between 147 and 160 and already beat him, if GGG had even faced a Williams let alone lost to him you’d be all over it like the fly on **** that you are.

    Lol Lemieux >> Chavez Jr.

Any either way, GGG still won. Schooling or not, it's irrelevant

On paper it really isn't, as he sucks, but he was a naturally much larger, iron-chinned and heavy-handed (if completely unskilled) weight bully, and Maravilla pitched a near flawless shutout until his gas tank ran out late. What makes it an impressive victory is that he almost imploded but overcame the adversity, managing to avoid letting it all unravel (in, say, a Liakhovich vs. Briggs type scenario)

    1. Sounds like an excuse. You know who else had an excuse, Canelo. Excuses are like ass holes, everyone has one. Who is to say GGG's excuse is more valid than Canelo's? Before GGG decided to vacate GGGons said it was unacceptable under any condition, or reason to vacate a title, especially for greed. As soon as GGG gets stripped because of money/greed, he is completely justified. That is ONE GGGoon double standard.

    2. Canelo's failed tests: Feb. 17, and Feb. 20. Please tell me you're not that much of an imbecilic, and lack that much logic to not realize that the clenbuterol was from the same source.. You have to be trolling, no one is that dumb.

    Yes.

Better against common opponents and longevity.

I took you a bit smarter.

Would you like to compare their resumes?

One lost to Marco Anotnio Rubio, the other made Marco Anotnio Rubio his b***.

The Andy Lee win is far better than anyone DL has beat.

You sound like GGG didn’t do the correct thing in being active, although you’d say that as it gives Canelo a better chance of winning.

Canelo failed son, get over it.

If Lemieux thought Rubio was a big puncher, prime 200 LB Chavez Jr would pin Lemmy & tko him on the ropes?

I think on their best day Chavez jr pounds Lemieux. Jr did peak younger though

Rubio beat a very raw and unseasoned Lemieux, first of all (was probably too big and sudden a leap up in class for his relative stage of progression despite having been 25-0) ..then got physically overpowered by a JCCC that had rehydrated to nearly the cruiserweight limit. :nono:

And that’s all good but again it’s not a great win, Chavez has also gone on to embarrass himself at every level.

(I’m not hating on Martinez, I was a fan watching him as a 13/14 yo beating Adrien Dodson during his UK hunting days).

Fair. I personally don't consider JCCC to be among Maravilla's better wins...just playing devil's advocate for why it can be viewed as somewhat creditable (in spite of JCCC being a useless dope)

Chavez. If you can't see the skill difference between DL and Jr. this argument is pointless.

Show me a better fighter than Andy Lee in DL's resume.

I have only seen slight improvements in DL's game, and I've been following DL since he started being showcased in the U.S.

Regardless of what Tactics fighters use in Jr.'s case coming in huge, he still made weight, he was still a MW, he was still better.

Bro, the argument here is that there is a double standard.

Him avoiding Derevyanchenko for whatever excuse is just that, an excuse. Canelo had his reason for not fighting GGG straight away, and guess what, that was an excuse too.

I'm simply pointing out the double stabdard, and you GGGoons hate it. lol
