If Canelo had given up the belt after Cotto then you’d have a leg to stand on, however he dragged up a glass chinned, much smaller man in a defence of his 160 title.

The fact Canelo was allowed to have a fight (Khan) between Cotto and a perceived fight against GGG on the pretence that he then faced GGG straight after, Canelo agreed then dropped the belt. Kid that is a duck whichever way you want sugar coat it.

He dropped the belt after facing Khan and being presented with having to gave GGG by the WBC and renegaded on his agreement in defence of his 160 title.

Canelo doesn't have to nothing only because you think so. If he wanted to milk the WBC MW title, that is his prerogative. Again, the title is not bigger than that fighter. He won the title at 155, he fought after winning that title at 155, and when GGG was beging for a fight he told him "sure thing, lets roll at 155.. otherwise you wait until I'm good and ready to move up to the full MW limit".

Considering that BOTH Cotto and Martinez have agreed to weights to get the bigger name that is an invalid argument, all you doing is making excuses both Cotto and Martinez are on record saying that had no issue facing GGG Martinez wanted a big money fight first and ended up losing and with Cotto he cried like he was a big star when he wasn't...you notice Martinez, Geale, Canelo all agreed to weight and all got the fight GGG didn't and that's why he has a crappy resume to this day.

 

His resume is solid enough and you are missing the point or choosing to ignore it to fit your agenda regarding diva title holders wanting to drain fighters in defence of a title.

Ive no problem with the odd catch weight but when you want to defend a title in a catch weight of the division, whilst actively draining your opponents should have no place in boxing.

My guy when you claim you are ducked and no one will fight you and a bug name fighter says they will fight you under they rules and you refuse that's not a duck.. EVERY GREAT fighter who became great made a consession or sacrifice GGG didn't which is why os isn't great... the guys resume is trash he's beaten what 1 current Champ in his career and that was a guy who won a vacant title and lost it to Ggg his very next fight. The guy is a fraud you say you have no problem with a 1 oft fight well that's exactly what it would have been after claiming 154 so easy and will KO everybody he could have made 1 consession to get a name and he ducked out

How about Cotto when he Challeneged him how about Canelo in 2015 when Canelo also called him out, how about Lara or how about Ward at 68 who offered him a fight that would take place sometime after Lemieux this the same guy who was complaining about money vs Jacobs only to arguably lose.
