Take the test or no fight. Anyone who's against random testing is suspect. There's no reason why you should be against it period.

considering povetkin is subject to year round random drug testing than I think wilder would be the one afraid of testing

Wilder will fight Szpilka in September....
Then before pursebid for potvetkin he will seek unification with Pianeta.

The WBC will grant him this request since they Will make more $$$$$$$ keeping the title in the US.

    JUST IMHO

Because his glass jaw would get shattered, just like Perez's did. Earlier too! :nod

Because Povetkin is a real world class heavyweight with skill and power, after Povetkin starches him his time as a top HW contender is over. His career would go the same way Michael Grants did after Lewis, and McCline exposed him. If not worse...

In all fairness to Grant, he did hang around the top 20 all the way up until his fight with Takam

Not saying he will or he won't but as of right now I don't see any reason to say Wilder is trying to get out of fighting Povetkin.

Fight is going to negotiations in October and Wilder is looking to stay active until then, which is smart and a nice change from most of the top heavyweights.

A large part of Wilder's marketability is the fact he has a title and can call himself champ. He needs that belt and unless Haymon can work some magic he will end up facing Povetkin eventually.

He might be able to delay it and get 1-2 more fights in first but I think he ends up facing Povetkin sometime next year.
