I bet Wilder is more popular in UK or Russia than in his own country. Why the americans aren't interested in Wilder? Even though he is undefeated knockout artist heavyweight.

I'm not from America But I'd guess it's because hes not taking any risks.
No HW should be at his number of fights without a good name on his resume it's just unheard of

And it was the way he stepped away from the Povetkin fight. Meldonium is not a steroid. It increases blood flow. He should have insisted on taking a bigger portion of the purse but he should have never walked away from that fight. He also should be setting something up with either Klitschko or Joshua NOW.

as an American from the northeast I can say he isn't popular here. really the sport of boxing to begin with isn't

however it's mostly down to a lack of big wins. the division isn't loaded with huge names for him to beat but the few there he hasn't fought

he also failed to stop stiverne his best opponent so I think some began to doubt his power

he certainly is entertaining enough to be popular

as a whole our country cares more about wwe fake wrestling than any real fighting sport. I think our country had been reduced to a bunch of ****ing ******s that only care about scripted events.

who can take anyone serious who elects a two faced incompetent business mismanager as our god dam president.

I can't i marine how that could look from the outside. one of the true powers in a freefall of a collapse

Many boxing fans view him as a clown, who refuses to fight viable opposition. He's like one of those Euro Champ guys who fight mediocre opposition over and over and make decent money, but rarely step up.

He isn't popular or known because he hasn't had any big fights and isn't willing to fight top contenders. Simple as that.

His skills inside the ring look awful. He has an extremely padded record. His persona looks forced and scripted. "Bomb squad" is just awful.
Americans know when they have the goods, Holyfield, Tyson, Bowe, and when they are force fed trash to stay relevant in the glamor division of the sport Wilder.

Nobody's popular in the US. Boxers aren't promoted and marketed to broad audiences.

He barely fills 9k venues in his hometown in the middle of nowhere after 5 (!) title fights. He's totally unknown because he's cherrypicking unknown opponents.
