Why Wilder's costume excuse was fantastically stupid.

Glad you brought that up. Fury asked for the foam to be removed BEFORE the fight. Had the foam (which was atypically thick with the express intent of garnering Klitschko a sporting advantage and was not a fashion statement) stayed in place and Fury lost, and then he used it as an excuse, he would have been rightly ridiculed.

Wilder didn't lose because he wore a suit to the ring. He lost because on the night he was totally destroyed in a one-sided beat down. You know? Like you suffer here on a daily basis.

    Yeah, atypically thick...

Good Idea. I hate these threads. It's like listening to a bunch of catty teenage girls.

Come on now, we all get passionate but it is not good to be insistent, everybody is right and they generally are including you at times.

But we all have to accept others opinions and respect them no matter what we believe, and learn from them and them you.

Right. Fury asked for it to be removed because he thought it would weaken his legs.

Wlad, who also experienced weak legs in his career, thought the extra padding helped to prevent him from getting weak legs.

How does padding make one guys weak legs strong and another guy's weak legs weaker? It's all nonsense. If they think it has an affect, then it has an affect.

A smaller cup didn't help Wlad get his endurance. Even Steward laughed about it. But Wlad thought it helped ... SO IT DID.

But Wlad went undefeated for 10 years when he went to a smaller protector and extra padding in the ring and no oil on his legs.

Now, Wilder saying a 40 pound costume weakened his legs is the LATEST worst thing anyone has heard.

Like others have said here, if Wilder wins the third fight, the loss in fight two will be the suit's fault in his mind, whether it's true or not.

Just like Wlad blamed his losses away on bladder protectors and leg oil. (LOL)

If they think it's true, it is. That's how they move on.

When rating excuses you're not looking for plausibility but entertainment value.

    Wilder's delivers, and then some.

LET'S TALK ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE BECAUSE WILDER SAID SOMETHING SUPER STUPID.

On Fury and the foam, he thought it would slow his movement around the ring and throw off his jerky jerky rhythm. Then there was the mental aspect of making control freak Wlad make concessions.

Ultimately, you need a ring for a fight, with some degree of padding. How someone prepares or equips for a fight is not comparable to Wilder's excuse regarding something that had nothing to do with the fight itself. You don't need a stupid, embarrassing, tasteless, crude, laughable suit to lose by one-sided beat down. Just like it wasn't the heavy suit he wore for the ring walk vs Ortiz which secured the 'W'.

Anyway, here's the suit you wear whenever you log into the forum...

That suit was the only reason the mascot hit the deck, without that extra weight it would have gone to points....

Wrong again Mr. Jab. Had he not had that extra weight to carry out on set then he would have had the energy to force a KO of his own. Totally different fight.

Judging by your comments I'm presuming you think Wilder won the first fight he wasn't himself in the second fight and he is guaranteed to knock Fury out in the third fight?

You stupid *******, the point is obvious to anyone not mentally defective. If the Romans had 500,000 who could march twenty miles with 100 pounds AND FIGHT A BATTLE, the a world class athlete should have no trouble with 40 pounds and fighting a boxing match.

But all you reveal is that you are a fat, double-chinned idiot, because most of us who have actually trained know that 40 pound is nothing. Between posting this morning and now, my wife and I went out and she carried around my 35 pound child for a couple of hours.

As for your mafia bull****, stuff it. It has nothing to do with anything.

You are truly a one in a a million buffoon.

It's not about whether the excuse was true or plausible, it's the fact that he made excuses. Sure it could have affected him, but he should have known how stupid he's going to sound telling people that's what cost him the fight. Just say it was Fury's night, you already have a rematch clause why make excuses??
