Regarding the Sanders loss, I remember Wladimir totally ignoring the fact that he was facing a lefty. I also recall a complete lack of focus prior to that fight. At first I couldn't put my finger on it, but then later it was revealed that Wladimir was having some pretty serious issues with his then girlfriend. But if I can defend his performance in that fight even if only a bit, he never stayed down after any of those punches. He always got back up on his feet and finished the fight up and conscious. His problems in the ring were that he failed to stay away and kept trying to engage Sanders too quickly after his knock downs and never gave himself time to clear his head. Had the fight not been stopped, I think Wladimir regroups and beats down Sanders. Marquez had a much worse first and second round against Manny Pacquiao in their first fight and was allowed to continue the fight and eventually fought Manny to a draw.

Wladimir Klitschko is not a disgrace for sure, but on the other hand the thread starter is clearly damaged person with hidden homosexual agenda towards great Ukrainians. :)

I disagree that Wlad was ever going to beat Sanders on that particular night.. He got hurt too badly and too early, and frankly I think that his confidence had been shaken to the extent where it would have taken an act of God to bring him back into that fight.... I will say however, that his polished skills and more careful approach since hiring Steward, might have made all the difference.. He needed to box from a distance and keep out of harm's way for the first several rounds, and that's exactly what we've seen from him in the past few years.. Sanders had a history of having poor stamina in the late rounds of the fight... If Wlad had picked away at him, while Corrie Slowly faded, then an IMPROVED Wlad probably would have stopped him late.....

Wlad Klitschko may not be the most entertaining fighter, but he's the most efficient of any HW's in the division at this time. For all you haters, you're not boxing fans, you're brawling fans, if that's the case you should move on over to MMA. If your argument is the lack of entertaining boxing style on Vlads part, then the same could be said of Mayweather Jr. He's a very defensive fighter, doesn't throw that many punches, but because he has a mouth on him it automatically makes him so exciting to watch. It's appalling how hypocritical boxing fans can be,especially American ones, but that's a story for a different day.
