Why won't Chris Eubank Sr ever talk about his debut fight ?

If you don't mind me asking, Tim, why did you only have two pro bouts?

    Why would Eubank discuss this?

It's a pretty insignificant part of his career

A comfortable four round win where he scored a knock-down in the second round

He was 19 and it was a pretty standard and uneventful debut bout

He went on to much bigger/better and more significant things

The guy who fought him may feel he could have performed better but that really means nothing to Eubank or the rest of the boxing world because it was simply a four rounder from his early developmental days

If the guy who lost to him feels he was or could have been better than Eubank if he'd only trained harder, fought more consistently or whatever then that's a shame for him but it's the same old song you hear from any and every past his prime ex sports man who never reached the top "I could have been a contender if only......"

I don't know if Eubank's was officially counted.

IMO, were his to have been counted then so too should have Brown's.

Moot point, as your overall statement that it was insignificant to his career in the grand scheme holds true.

That it was the paramount shining moment of glory in Brown's - even more than his actual KO1 victory later on - is obvious.

    One man's trash...
