Why won't Cotto fight a trilogy with Margarito in Mexico?

There is no point to a 3rd fight, same as no point to a 4th Pacman JMM fight.

 

The fight was 12 rnds not 10. And cotton was starting to slow very fast toward the end of the fight and you can bet that Margo was going to give him hell in the last 3 rnds.so its hard to say just how the fight would a ended had the Dr not stopped it

Why should he? He proved he can be Margarito if Margarito is not using plaster in his wraps. Why allow Margarito to make any more money off him?

Margarito/Cotto 3 would be a good fight after Cotto loses to Floyd.

If Margarito's eye is permanently damaged then I agree the fight gets stopped again in Cotto's favor otherwise we have another good fight on our hands.

 

Cotto whooped the cheater in the rematch showing that there was foul play in the first encounter. And now Cotto is on to bigger and better with a huge May 5th Fight with Mayweather.

Too funny. He should not have given him a big payday in the first place for that rematch. You can't claim him with other good Mexican greats or even good contenders. Sissys don't use plaster, real men fight cleanly and fair. The doctors were on Margarito's corner. Did you not remember that these doctors cleared Margarito to fight in the first place. According to Arum, because Arum is almighty, these were the best eye doctors in the world. Well, Margarito was on two knees with Mosley dropping him in the eighth. Oh, I forgot, he was on his knees and out in the ninth. Maybe just maybe, Margarito should get on his knees again and pray for a trilogy because Cotto has moved on to fight the best while Margarito gets scraps.
