This really baffles me. He can't fight now anyway, and maybe part of his problem is this is hanging over his head. Set the hearing, take the suspension, and maybe he'll have his head straight by the time the suspension is over. Almost seems like they want to keep him retired from boxing as it stands.
Maybe because then it will all be definitive. If he gets cleared (don't think so, but you never know), it all falls to him then. Losing weight, getting back in shape, getting a licence and showing it in the ring if all the other things work out. If he doesn't get cleared, he might lose it all, and even get sued blind by Wlad as it turns out he was using before and/or suspended when he was supposed to rematch him, costing Wlad milllions upon millions.
Its my understanding that UKAD is drawing this out, because the 2nd samples came back negative and there is no way that they should have banned Fury in the way that they did. They are now bricking it about being taken to the cleaners by Furys lawyers, so we are in groundhog day in which UKAD is drawing it out for as long as possible. The rumour mill is that UKAD is worried about going bankrupt over this case. As far as Tyson Fury is concerned nothing stopping him from fighting under a Luxembourg or Baltic Boxing union licence 12 months ago. I think he is being managed very badly, because no one knows when UKAD will close this case on him, and no one knows when he will get his British boxing licence back. He should have had a fight under a Baltic boxing union licence already this year if he was really serious about coming back. He also stiffed Wlad out of rematches twice, which is a really low thing for him to do. Especially at Wlads age. You would have thought after having the same thing done to him by Haye that he would have understood how that feels and not stiffed someone else like that. Shameful behaviour. It goes down as a duck in my book
