The fight's been on the table for over a year. If he hasn't said yes by now, he's said no.

Yeah....those guys have earned the right to be selective in the opponents they fight.....HOWEVER....

We can't say it's GGG who is asking for unreasonable demands.

But at the same time.....He won't be insulted or lowbolled either.

And we also can't keep elevating them to god status because their wins at the time seemed better than they really were.

Murray beat the men who beat the men who beat the man.

    GGG dominated him.

Geale....beat the man who beat the man....was robbed of his title then was ruined in consecutive step ups.

Ishiida took a rd to put Kirkland out. Ishiida had never been down....GGG iced him.

The S6 made the careers of a few fighters. But those same fighters would never fight for the short $$ they made then.

But.....it did allow for a couple prospects to become superstars.

If a new S tourney were to start....how much more $$$ would it cost...

Lemieux, GGG, JACOBS, COTTO, CANELO, AND LEE. EUBANK, BJS, Quillin, and Korobov as original alternates.

Imagine the $$$$ it would take to get those guys all into 1 tournament.

So let's consider that without the S6.....Froch, Ward, Dirrel, and KESSLER are all stuck fighting the same calibre opposition GGG has been.

Boxing is fast becoming a political joke.
I remember the 90s when you essentially had to sign your life over to DKP. AND I thought that was bad.

At least he got his fighters into the ring and let em fight whoever wanted some.

    :huh

This a joke? You know a GGG vs JCC bout was all but agreed but JCC walked away as he wanted out from under Arum's control?

Froch is looking for in excess of $10 mil.....They're at about 8 from what I can deduct.
If they can get DeGale on board for about $2 mil.....vs a NO RISK opponent....like Bursak.....

They can give Froch his demands and make the fight.

I for one.....am still quite hopeful

Did you even bother read the entire thing? HBO-Haymon disagreements can be worked out for a fight worth hundreds million $. GGG is not on ppv and noone wants to watch Lara. You do the math.

That remains to be seen. Jr got beat up for 11 and a half rounds against Martinez and was still giving it his best. Lets see if Fury can put forth the same effort when he steps up to an elite fighter. Both were/are overrared, overhyped fighters though until they prove otherwise.
