One would assume with the current format of standardized IQ testing in this country (USA) this lot would obtain a decent score.....after reading these past couple pages my opinion has changed drastically. I mean the thread starter is having a hard time grasping the concept of p4p and the non significance of a Floyd vs GGG fight. It's sad and really just disappointing. I mean one guy even found it meaningful to mention that GGG would KO Manny and Floyd in one round....?? Seriously? How does this statement empower & support your argument here?

Why wont GGG fight Ward?... It's pretty similar set of circumstances pretty much.

An incredible amount of stupid **** from both sides here.

When Floyd was 20 y/o he fought at 130, Golovkin at the same age 140 (with same day weigh ins). So both have effectively moved up a similar amount as they've grown. Just happens to be GGG was is the ams at the time. It's objectively wrong to say otherwise.
On the other hand, people are acting like it would be moving up one division for pbf, as if LMW is natural for him. I mean come on people, I've no doubt he could've stayed at 140 if he'd deemed it necessary. He's already gone up against bigger men. If he got a MW title off someone, you'd call him a ***** for not taking on DeGale and so on indefinitely.
So yes, GGG would likely win by KO at 160, 154 is unknown. But so ****ing what? It means absolutely nothing, and as someone said further up, he doesn't owe you a KO loss.

    This is just sad.

Why on earth would GGG fans want to see him fight a retired, near 40 year old WW??

    Again

its not so much we want him to fight him but rather for Mayweather to test himself

Well I'll play devils advocate here and say some actual find such a fight sort of a passing of the torch event. Boxing is very personal sport it has huge emotional implications because of the intimacy of contact sports and its ripple effect amongst communities of people. I can see the allure no doubt I just can't see how this fight improves the overall status of the sport vs satisfying small groups of personal agendas.

So is it a test or a definite KO loss?
