Oscar-Wright is Oscar's only big name option left right now that PBF is retired. The fight makes sense Winky is free and has shown interest. So why hasn't there been any deals discussed? I'll tell you why because Oscar and his fans know that Winky would school him that's why.:deal Oscar has long been called the a guy who faces all comers but the truth is he's always ducked Winky for years. Winky is the only fight out there at the moment that would be a good win for his legacy. Winky is a ATG a former top P4P #1 and is a good name on anyone's resume. Winky is asking for this fight and everyone here should be all for it but I guess they'll say Winky is boring and other bull**** like that. What they really want to say is they don't want to see Oscar dished out another boxing lesson so they try and discredit Winky every chance they get and I see right through their bull****. This is an easy fight to make since Winky is co-promoted by Golden Boy so make the ****ing fight Oscar your fans deserve it.

Why won't winky fans admit that an oscar fight is a joke and a pathetic attempt at a payday.

DLH offered Winky 6 million for a fight in 2006. Winks turned it down.

And didn't PBF call Winky out, only to not fight Winky when the talks got serious??:think

didnt you guys see the Forbes vs Dela hoya countdown?? Dela hoya clearly sed that his next goal is to be a billionaire. that means he gona fight the guys with the biggest pay day. he was ducking winky back in the day but now theres no reason to. if winky brings $$$ then they'll fight.

Why not, If Winky can make 154 this should happen.
De La Hoya has no reason to move up in weight to face an
inactive fighter who's last fight was in '07 at 170lbs. (it's on him)
I think Oscar takes the fight...

If Wright can make 154, they should do it.

And you actually believe this? I guess that makes sense. I mean if i won the lottery, it would make sense to rip up the winning ticket. :nut

Didn't Winky demand more money and also that Floyd moves up to Jnr. Middleweight for this fight?, it's not like Winky is DLH to demand more money.

Of course. Sergio Mora called him out after his last fight. Everyone from 140 to 175 is willing to either bulk up or starve themselves to fight Oscar and it's really really pathetic. They look like pigeons fighting for bread crumbs and what makes it even worse is that they still try to talk it up like a win over Oscar really means anything at this point.

    It's just human nature.

Kellerman was asking Winky who he wanted to fight after his loss to Hopkins and he said, "I want Oscar, and then maybe that's it for me." Gee, i wonder why Oscar. Can anyone tell me why? I really don't have a clue.

The best part about that quote was that he said he wants Oscar because he wants to fight the best. Someone should tell him that Oscar is not considered the best by anyone's standards these days

Agreed. This 'noble warrior' **** is annoying. He just wants a record payday, which is fine, but why is Oscar obliged to obediently fall into line to help Winky make a fortune.
Oscar hasnt even got a belt or title,so why should he be under pressure to fight ANYBODY?

This seemed like a legitimate criticism of Oscar five years ago, but who cares today now that he's announcing his retirement? A fight against Winky isn't exactly the ideal going away party for his fans.
