i am sick of our fighters fighting for chopstick titles and saying their the best but they wont fight our own countrys boys, what happened to take care of your back yard then fight overseas.
heres the boys im talking about, might open some worms.

    cruiserweieghts-pitt,forsyth,nieman-all former oz am champs
middleweight-woods,shaick,fletcher-2 former aus champs and contender
these are the worst offenders in oz the
    superfeather featherweights
will tomlinson-am oz champ-fights bantam weights
greg eadie-am oz champ-aus champ but fought none of these
    paul fleming-am oz champ-up and comer-step up
joel brunker-amature oz champ-chopstix title holder
    throw in billy dibb
put them all together and do main event and let the winner take on the world, really, trainers stop pretending and making these kids think they are going all the way,i personally beleive only 1 has chance of getting close
whats your thoughts id love to no

Chop stick titles get you higher in the ABC rankings i was told , personally i agree with you clean house in your own country then the next step is the C/Wealth title IF you win that here in the Northern half of the world then you are just three steps away to being the proper old school King of the World .

Short Answer, these guys mostly want padded records, semi easy fights that paths a way at a shot for a title, some dont care if its not WBC, WBA or IBF as long as its some form of world title that enables them to sell themselfs as world champions. The problem is the diet is not a good one and causes them to fall short on a world stage.

They wont fight each other because its to hard, hard fights with no title = no thanks. Thats what boxing has become in AUS unfortunatly. Often its the nature of these shows, without the ability to enforce fair and even fights they cant do much other than let the authorites regulate the sport, the same authorities that the promoters are paying.

Risk v reward...even at the lower level...$300 per round to fight 3-3 fighter...$300 per round to fight 8-0 fighter...IMO that why good match ups don't happen as often as we like

They prefer to fight bums from lower weight divisions to build up deceiving records (on paper) then eventually some of them get a crack at a big 4 belt and are shown up to be journeymen rather than legitimate contenders.

look at MMA, fights are well matched. One thing that could be a problem for boxing is the combination of promoters and sanctioning bodies. In MMA you have the major league in UFC who are both the promoter and sanctioning body as such. Same as M-1 etc etc... and boxing is a better product to watch
