Why won't Top Rank make a Crawford vs. Postol fight?

For the Ring and linear championships at light welterweight.

Postol says he wants the fight. Crawford wouldn't turn it down.

What is preventing it from happening?

Crawford doesn't want it. He turned down Postol and Pacquiao.

Because Crawford likes to feast on smaller fighters.
You can expect to see him fight inferior opposition for a long time to come.

Because Arum has seen what Postol can do Ring Side and he's not sure so Crawford can beat him.

Because they'd prefer to have a fighter who's marketable in the US who can at times be entertaining depending on his opponent, instead of a dull unmarketable Ukrainian jabbing machine.

Probably this. If he sticks to his guns and stays retired, Arum will probably start to consider options besides Manny. For now, that is what he's eyeing most greedily.

You didn't get what I'm getting at, there's a good chance Postol will win that match, and Bob doesn't want to risk getting stuck with Postol as the guy he has to market, he prefers putting his resources behind Bud. Sure Postol would be the man at LWW, but Rigo was the man after he beat Donaire and you see how easy he was to market too.
