Like honestly cmon now... were not talking about basketball or tennis here its ****ing boxing.... I SERIOUSLY can't take anyone serious who expect these two brothers to fight one another
And yet the party line AGAINST the fight is getting weaker and weaker. I personally feel sure they will fight, but it's most likely to be an exhibition for charity. However, Wlad was talking about bringing the question to their mother once again in the wake of the Chagaev fight.
Loser leaves town. With virtually zero other competitive bouts out there right now, if the y do not BOX each other for the unification, the division will surely die off.
When they actually retire the division will die. Right now they are the only real elite fighters at HW(and maybe the last). When you have someone like Arreola and Chamber as the best American heavies you know something is wrong.
Here's the deal, The Klits used to spar with each other. One instance, Wlad just took a step back and suddenly his leg was broken. They took it as a sign not to fight each other. You want these brothers to go against each other, try chess.
i have 2 brothers.... if me and my 2 brothers were top tier boxers.... i would never box them... no matter what the field competition looked like
Same here and i have got to agree with this. One of the Klit's was quoted as saying they wouldn't do it to their mother, which is a very fair point. Although i would like to see it i take nothing away from the fact they won't fight eachother and disregard it as a fight that will happen.
I agree. I think it is disgraceful the way some interviewers repeatedly ask them this question, especially in ring after one of them has just fought. How many times do they have to say they won't fight each other? If i was one of the Klitschko's and some idiot reporter asked me if i would fight my brother then i would say i would only do it if said interviewer ****s his brother. Would love to see how Kellerman handles that interview.
This is ******ed none of you guys have a brother? The fight will never happen would you hurt your brother on world-wide T.V. to make boxing fans happy? it's a rediculously un-reasonable request.
I don't know... What I do know is that David Haye is down on his knees this morning thanking God, Allah, Jesus Christ, L. Ron Hobbard or the Easter Bunny that he didn't take that fight...
I don't expect it. Who expects it? Not many people I would think. Wladimir has changed somewhat in his feeling about doing it. He is at least considering it. They both are. He said if their mother gave her blessing, they might do it. I still don't EXPECT them to.
I'd like them to. There needs to be an established linear champion within the division - it has been fragmented way too long now. I wouldn't want to share the title with anybody anyway, regardless of who it was.
