Why would Barrera fight Khan when he's the mandatory for the WBO title?

What are his chances with Campbell, anyway? Not very good.

    I disagree.

Outside of the fight with Diaz, Campbell has not been a world beater. He lost twice, by stoppage, to a guy that Barrera dominated over a 12 round clinic. Robbie Peden. He has lost many times in his career, and we don't know exactly how much Barrera has left.

You have to make Nate the favorite, but Barrera has a good chance at beating Campbell, and slim to none against the other belt holders.

yup and if he wins he gets credit for beating a young prospect who is supposed to be the future champ at 135. that's better than beating a 36 yrs old champion:D

Didn't he try to get a fight with Nolasco for the WBO belt but the sanactioning body would not allow it to be for the title ?

I wonder if this fight will be another Khan fix like the Kindolan rematch, MAB surely doesnt need the money, unless he has been paid a fortune to make Khan look good.

Well . . . Warren is making a very big mistake. :deal :D

Khan will end up on MAB's victims list.

I don't rate Khan but he has a LOT of advantages in this fight, if he can make then work it could be a relatively easy night for him.

Khan coming off of a devastating defeat and being so young, his handlers shouldve sent him back to the drawing board.

Barrera is too experienced and it won't do anything for Khan win or lose ...

Khan hasn't changed anything and he can't really outbox Barrera and I doubt he knocks Barrera out.

Well he beat Oisin ***an already who is a decent enough comeback fight.

If you think Freddie isn't going to change anything then you must be stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.
