Why would Chino accept fight without his Gloves in rematch?

maidana and his team better not cry about the gloves if it comes down to it...... tehse things should have been sorted out before they signed the mayweather rematch... it's not like mayweather had a lot of options for the september fight anyway so this was actually a good chance to stand firm

actually I think it was smart for Maidana's camp to sign the contract, to lock Floyd into fighting him. Like the first fight, there is nothing in the contract about the glove issue. Today Maidana admitted he signed a contract to fight Mayweather again with the gloves issue unresolved. Mayweather said the gloves issue could resurface again and said "last time out, we grabbed the gloves and it had no padding in it, at all."

So the glove issue remains unresolved even after the rematch contract was signed. It doesn't sound like Mayweather is objecting to the type of gloves Maidana wants to use, but rather how much padding is in it.

 

Yeah you would call Mayweathers bluff, get outta here. This is his only chance. He won't make another payday at half that rate.

His trainer has already said that the gloves Mayweather made him use were fine, Chino just wasn't used to them. Garcia said most of his fighters actually think the Mayweather gloves are better. Chino will wear the Mayweather approved gloves and it won't be an issue.

Yeah I would have no problem turning down a 4 million dollar plus payday, probably at least a 1/3 of my entire career earnings, just so Mayweather will be delayed in getting his 30 plus million dollar payday. He should man up and sacrifice the future of his family so he can prove a point. I'm sure his kid would be proud. "My daddy turned down 4 million to make Mayweather look bad". Get outta here, you would do whatever Mayweather told you to do. Maidana is just another opponent for Mayweather. There is no other Mayweather type chance or payday for Maidana.

 

Will Maidana have to wear 24 oz. gloves? Void is a fraud. Void should fight Pac, but he can't buy Pac off. Void refused to fight Martinez at 150, he refused to fight Golovkin at 154, he refused to fight Paul Williams, he refused to fight Margarito, etc., Void will fighht Christy Martin and it will be on PPV, but will she have to wear 24 oz. gloves?

 

But of course when Cotto dictates to Martinez it's cool, nobody say nothing, everybody is Maidana's advisor though
