He never claimed he was down to 141, he CLAIMED he had gotten as low as 149 during training, after working out.

    :patsch Just STFU!

The point is that this *** El Cepillo is bitching about grammar..WTF???!! This is a boxing website, not a ***, spelling bee, grammar forum.

And yes, the comma is proper.

**** grammar btw. The only thing I hate is one big paragraph, and that's just cus it's harder to read.

It's really not; either way can be used as long as you remain consistent.

Also, the bolded comment above should be written like this:

"And, yes, the comma is proper."

    :yep

good teory but what im asking is why oscar only weighed 2 pounds heavier on the night of the fight, surely he could of put more weight on in 30 hours than only 2 pounds

 I'm just busting your balls dude. I'm far from a grammar expert and have to proofread everything 10x before i am comfortable to send.

Anyway, I have no idea why DLH waited so long to rehydrate :D

    Victor Ortiz
    Jefferey Resto
    Juan Manuel Lopez
    Sergio Medina

All weighed in at the LIMIT.... If the scales were rigged, then these fighters would have been OVER the LIMIT!!!!!! I doubt they all conspired with golden boy, and made sure theyw eighed exactly enough OVER to make sure they weughed in at the limit for the rigged scale.

    PENDEJOS!

You don't really have much social skills do you? This is whats called a discussion you know talking and shooting the ****?

Anyways, they could have just rigged the scale before Oscar/Pac... lol.

You sure you thought this through? If GBP rigged the scales to conceal Oscar's failure to make weight, anyone weighed on the same scale would be light.:patsch Just like Pac, who expected to come in at 146.

However, people that attended the weigh-in stated that there was a long break between all the undercard weigh-ins and when Manny and Oscar finally stepped on the scales. Plenty of time to change settings, or even the scale itself. Oscar knew it was too obvious and decided to boil down the rest of the weight overnight instead of rehydrating so he could give an acceptable fight night weight. This is the only reasonable explanation for why he'd wait till late Saturday to take in fluids and also reconciles with Pac's astonishment at being 4lbs less than where he should've been.

I don't think Oscar wanted this to appear like the physical mismatch most (myself included) expected it to be. So I'm assuming, he planned to balloon up intravenously after tipping the HBO scales on fight night to give the impression that physically the two were similar in size. In other words, in the event of victory, he didn't want to look like a middleweight beating up a lightweight.
